![]() It's so exciting to see the Lord at work in the life of The Church at Shelby Crossings You and your family are invited to join us for worship this Sunday, where you can enjoy uplifting songs of praise to God, hear practical truth from His word, and connect with people who genuinely care about you. Pastor Ken Letson will be kicking off a new series of messages on the family--starting Mother's Day and ending Father's Day-- entitled"All in the Family."
Prayer for May Mission TripsPlease be in prayer for several mission trips this month involving Shelby Crossings members. Five of our college students (Audrey Barron, Jenny Ellis, Bailey Newell, Tom Phan and Brett Roney) left Thursday for Nottingham, England where they are assisting a church planter in his ministry there. They will be returning on May 23. Allison Shirley and Jennifer Vines will be leaving this Sunday, May 13, for a week in Swaziland, Africa, where they'll be serving with two of the missionary families our church supports (the McAdams and Clyburns). And Rachel Letson (and husband-to-be Blake Stockard) will be going to Kigali, Rwanda on May 23 to serve with the Barakabaho Foundation for two months. Thanks for your ministry of prayer.
![]() We will be offering several new 8-week elective classes during our Sunday morning small group time at 9:00, beginning on Sunday, May 20. Pre-registration is not required, but if you want to sign up for any of the classes, email Brian Fulton.
Congratulations to the W3 Kids who beat the parents in the end-of-the-year Bible Bowl this past Wednesday night! It was a great spring of learning God's word for all the children in W3, as evidenced by their showing in the competition.
Mark your calendars and make plans to join us for our annual Shelby Crossings gathering at Oak Mountain State Park on Sunday, June 10. We'll be celebrating baptism. If you've trusted Jesus as your Savior and would like to be baptized, please let us know. |
